Handmade Soap

I love Pinterest and all the ideas one can glean from it. I decided to try making handmade soap. It was pretty easy. I made goat's milk and honey soap.

Name Shadow Box

I volunteer at The Genesis Project, as time/energy permit.
They are having acelebration for the girls and I was asked to help
with making a special gift for each one; suggestion was to use their
name with the meaning and on wood.
This is what I made for each girl (name blurred to protect identity.):

I borrowed the idea, from . . . where else? Pinterest! Which led to Etsy.

Lip Balm

With school out for summer break my granddaughter and I are planning several craft projects. Our first one was making lip balm using coconut oil, beeswax, honey and a sliver of lipstick for the coloring. We think they turned out pretty good.

I used the little heart, the ribbon and the canvas strip from my niece's
Save The Date and Wedding Invitation to make this card for their wedding.

This card was made after finding out what the bride's wedding colors were:

Watercolored Penciled Cards

I decided to try a new technique - watercolor colored pencils.
Here are my first attempts. They were fun to do, however I need to
watch a few YouTube videos to understand how to better use them.

Clear Stamps

I have some clear stamps that I've had for years and have never really
used. I decided to make a few cards today using a couple of those
stamps. Here they are!

Stamped inside of both cards...I was thinking of you.
