12-14-2014 Writing

I wrote this for inside some Christmas cards this morning as I was waiting to go to church:

Christmas.
It began with a birth.
A special baby.
A boy.
Jesus.
The Christ.
Messiah.
Anointed One.
Immanuel.
God with us.
He came to save.
From my sin.
Do you believe?
In Him?
Was He who he said?
King of kings?
Lord of Lords?
Savior?
He loved.
Enough to die.
So we might live.
Eternally.
With him.
Forever.
Simple.
His gift.
Unwrap it!
Merry Christmas!

(Interesting that the message this morning at church followed what I was given to write.)

CHRISTMAS/LOVE Acrostics

My 8 year old granddaughter messaged me with an acrostic for the word "Christmas" (phonetic speller)...
Crispy tasty treats
Helping cook diner
Really fun day
It's the best day of the year Christmas
Sum day
Tasty treats
Mom raps the presents
Another fun day of Christmas
So much gifts
I decided to write one myself:
Christ is born.
He is Emmanuel.
Redeemer.
In a manger he humbly lay.
Sinless.
The king of Kings.
Mighty Counselor.
Almighty God
Savior of the world.

The one she did for LOVE...
Love is really romantic
Oh that's gross
Very easy too fall in love
Enough it's to to gross/barf

Frozen

My niece's daughter's 2nd birthday party theme was Frozen. Her auntie did a great job setting up all the birthday food/crafts, all centered around the movie. This is the card I made for her...
