8-24 Cards

Finally! After 3 months I've sat down to make a card (hopefully more) for a friend. I stamped a square with the Penney Black daisy background stamp. Since I'm am one of the few people left on the planet who don't own any copic markers,  I colored it with Prismacolor pencils. I used white opal Liquid Pearl Accent on the little dots. Then mounted it on the colored paper and added a scripture verse and ribbon. I think she'll like it.

 

Who can stop with making only one card?! Not me! Here's a birthday card for one of my sisters. I needed to plug into the inner child and stamped/colored this one too (House Mouse "Fish Bowl").

I used the wrong type of black ink so coloring was becoming smeared and affected the color, but

I think it's still cute. I used Glossy Accents to make the bubbles.

Cute, but maybe not so practical??

I think Post-it notes are one of the greatest inventions! Some items

I made using post-it notes. The design possibilities are limitless

and what great gift ideas!

 

This one is on an acrylic stand. Great for your office,

This one is similar to a match cover. The bottom green is the 

flap that opens to reveal the notes. Nice to keep

These little guys are pillow boxes (both ends open, then fold back down).

Nice to put little gifts in, money, gift card, jewelry, candy, etc.

I may need to make some more - So cute!

Photo Box

I made these photo boxes a few years ago. They are made with scrapbook card stock type paper. When the lid is removed and the four sides open with other pages for a total of 21 pictures (or writing, or whatever). Cute idea for a new grandparent, parent or aunt/uncle?

Well, hello! It's been a while since I've posted here. We are back home in WA and settled in (including my craft area). I have been very busy and unable to take time to sit and create, although I have done several crafts with our 7 year old granddaughter.

I found this "before/after" picture the other day. It was a project I tackled for our granddaughter who was born in 2006. I purchased the rocking horse at a neighbor's yard sale. I thought it turned out kind of cute! It has been out-grown and is now stored in the attic. I think I'll give it to her on her 16th birthday - God willing.
