I wrote this for inside some Christmas cards this morning as I was waiting to go to church:

Christmas.
It began with a birth.
A special baby.
A boy.
Jesus.
The Christ.
Messiah.
Anointed One.
Immanuel.
God with us.
He came to save.
From my sin.
Do you believe?
In Him?
Was He who he said?
King of kings?
Lord of Lords?
Savior?
He loved.
Enough to die.
So we might live.
Eternally.
With him.
Forever.
Simple.
His gift.
Unwrap it!
Merry Christmas!

(Interesting that the message this morning at church followed what I was given to write.)

In a manger he humbly lay.
Sinless.
The king of Kings.
Mighty Counselor.
Almighty God
Savior of the world.

Love is really romantic
Oh that's gross
